20 KM from Cape Town city centre in one of the most picturesque valleys. Originally part of the 1685 property of Simon va… n der Stel. Famous for its incredible sweet wine that was written about by poets, and authors of the 18th & 19th Centuries including Charles Dickens, Jane Austen & Baudelaire. The Vin de Constance was revived in 1989 and has been re-establishing itself as one of the world's great sweet wines ever since.
