    Stellenbosch is a coastal wine-producing district in the Western Cape province of South Africa – and the centre of fine-… wine production for the country. Located roughly 40 kilometres from Cape Town, the area is noted for its premium Cabernet Sauvignon. Thanks to ideal ripeness resulting from warm temperatures and long hours of sunshine, these wines are full-bodied, with smooth tannins and aromas and flavours of blackcurrant, black cherry, tobacco, pencil lead, and smoke.
