Intense Dark cherry red with crimson red hues. The cherry and perfumed rose petal florals. Rhubarb with a hint of white pepper add a supporting and complex component. The Grenache provides softness and sweet lolly fruit, Shiraz rich plum and mid palate weight, whilst Mataro the mineral and dark berry fruit. The tannins are soft and chalky.

The 2018 vintage was perfect with medium crop levels, small berries and a long and warm growing season. This wine shows all the hallmarks of the great vintage with plums and spice coming to the fore. The palate is filled with intense berry flavours and creamy oak that lingers. This wine drinks well now or if cellared well will age gracefully for many years.
