A fantastic expression of big, rich California Chardonnay from Robert Lloyd, the previous head winemaker at Rombauer. Layers of tropical fruits, pear and apple are supported by rich notes of vanillin leading into a powerful and succulent finish. Barrel fermented and aged for 10 months in American oak. Left on the lees right until bottling.

Lovely nutty, mealy aroma and just a hint of clementine and cedar. Finely creamy texture, subtly fresh, stony and very persistent. Deliciously restrained without austerity
