    Valencia is a large, sprawling Denominacion de Origen (Designation of Origin, DO) for wine in the Levante region of Spain … on the Mediterranean coast. Not surprisingly, then, Valencia enjoys a Mediterranean climate, with hot summers and little rainfall.
