45% Grenache, 30% Shiraz, 25% Mataro. Pedro was inspired by the light and bright “lunchtime” wines found in bistro’s throughout the Rhone Valley. Surprisingly dark in colour with the wild expression only no sulphur wines can give – all red fruits, lifted forest undergrowth and exotic spice. The palate is again surprisingly rich and full with vibrant naturally sweet flavours exploding in the mouth before being reigned in by whole bunch grip and fresh acidity. Drinking brilliantly now or for the next couple of years. Drinking brilliantly now or for the next couple of years.

20% whole bunches, unoaked, preservative free. Lovely wine. So much spice, flow, fragrance. It’s like taking a big jump into a box full of woodsy spice and pot pourri. Just so much deliciousness. Worth every cent. It opens a bit grumpy straight from the bottle but 15 minutes later and it really starts to sing.

Gorgeously attractive and beautifully perfumed, the bouquet shows Black Doris plum, raspberry, vanilla, hazelnut and mixed spice aromas. The palate is equally satisfying with excellent fruit intensity and persistency, wonderfully complemented by silky texture and flowing mouthfeel. Delightfully drinkable. At its best: now to 2026.
