Established in 1973 by David and Heather Watson, Woodlands is one of Margaret River's first five wineries.
Woodlands produces wine from its two vineyards, both located in the Wilyabrup Valley of Margaret River. The original Woodlands Vineyard is located on Caves Road, while the Woodlands Brook Vineyard is located two kilometres to the northeast.
They maintain a 5 red star rating with James Halliday's Wine Companion. The Woodlands' Vineyards are dry grown and maintained by hand using organic and traditional methods.

The little sister to Chloe, Woodlands’ flagship estate-grown chardonnay. This Chardonnay is produced solely from prime established vineyards within the Wilyabrup Valley of Margaret River.
Bright pale straw colour with greenish tinged edges and a watery hue. The nose exhibits aromas of nectarine, white peach and a whiff of grapefruit followed by subtle dried honey, biscuity oak and gun flint.
The palate delivers a broad powerful array of ripe orchard fruits, combined with elderflower and grilled cashews. Its weight is finely balanced with crispy, citrusy acidity.
