A blend of 67% Cabernet Sauvignon, 17% Merlot and 16% Malbec, the 2016 Margaret is a smooth, fine-textured red. Medium to full-bodied, it's less concentrated and robust than the Clementine, but it's nicely aromatic and supple, with a long, elegant finish.

Deepish red colour with a glint of purple. The bouquet is superbly fragrant with a rose petal,
subtle violet and red and dark fruit fragrance, edged with exotic spices. Very intense flavour, full-bodied, with a
sweet fruit core, firm tannins and great elegance, its wonderful spectrum of flavour lasting very long on the palate.
There's a lot of detail here. A majestic cabernet blend, with a glorious future.
(Grown on the original Woodlands Vineyard on Caves Road, planted 1973)
