    The history of Wirra Wirra dates back to the late 1800's when a somewhat eccentric cricketer Robert Strangways Wigley sett… led in the area and planted his first vines. The winery was a great success in its early life, producing many wines of quality including a signature Shiraz that was exported to England and the Empire.
