2014 was an exceptional vintage in the Hunter Valley. Sourced from Neil Stevens’ Glenoak vineyard, a combination of light sandy loams and transitional darker, heavier clay soils. Oldest plantings on this vineyard are from 1911. Fermentation in stainless steel at cool temperatures with some time on lees before bottling. "It has a distinct citrus core allied with minerally acidity and responds well to lengthy cellaring" - 95 points, James Halliday.

A famous wine in the context of the Tyrrell’s semillon portfolio, a wine of long standing and - curiously - the only single vineyard semillon to be machine-harvested. It has a distinct citrus core allied with minerally acidity and responds well to lengthy cellaring
