Where: United Cellars Head Office: Level 7/140 William St, Woolloomooloo NSW 2011 at 6:30 pm This month we're going to learn all about alcohol in wine. This might seem like an obvious piece of the puzzle but there is so much more to it! How does a winemaker control the amount of alcohol in their wine or is it not up to them? Different countries have different rules, is the percentage on the label always accurate? Semi-sweet, fortified, low alcohol and no alcohol, how are these achieved and what effect does it have on the flavour? Big Barossa Shiraz compared to a cool-climate Syrah, what is the alcohol gap? These and many more questions will be answered in this Tuesday Tutorial session! Included in your ticket will be lots of different wines with differing levels of age to try and discuss in a small group setting, some nibbles, and a $20 voucher to go towards any orders of 6+ bottles on the night!
