Description
This month, we will take you on a journey to discover the wonderful world of Yeast- The microbial magician who plays a large part in why the wine tastes the way that it does. Hosted by our resident Master of Wine student Mark Faber. We know you love wine as much as we do and that enjoyment is increased when you can hear the stories behind how and why each wine came to be created. So join us for the first Tuesday of the month for Tuesday Tutorials. You could be learning about a plethora of wine, food or even science-related subjects with a Master of Wine student, a Sommelier, Winemaker or Viticulturalist. The evening is all about enjoying great wine in the company of like-minded aficionados and friends. Not only will these nights give you- our wine-lovers a relaxed and informal setting to explore some amazing wines, but we’ll also provide plenty of fodder for your arsenal of wine knowledge! Each event will feature carefully selected wines, hand-picked from our cellar for us to discuss. Each months selection will be different, expect the unexpected - one night it could be all about Nebbiolo, the next we are hosting a legendary winemaker or learning about how tannin and acid affect different parts of the palate. On tasting will be: MONMOUSSEAU BRUT ETOILE NV vs. CULLEN PET NAT FRANCOIS VOYER MISTELLE BLANC (Rolle + Armagnac) vs. TENUTA ROCCACCIA 'SOLECHIARO' VERMENTINO 2017 FIGHTING GULLY ROAD CHARDONNAY 2016 vs. DOMAINE BERNARD DEFAIX PETIT CHABLIS 2016 Plus many more...
