Located in the heart of Australia’s iconic Barossa wine region, St Hallett has been producing fine wines since it was established in 1944. The Barossa zone is multi-dimensional when it comes to sub-regions and single-vineyard parcels of shiraz, including St Hallett’s multi-trophy winning beauty. “The single-vineyard wines need to be absolutely recognisable year on year when we taste them, and that tells us, no matter the different vintage conditions, that those vineyards have a certain site personality that stands out from the rest.” - Toby Barlow (Senior Winemaker). Vibrant and rich blueberry and dark cherry with a hint of mocha. A bold an opulent palate, filled with generous red berry fruits, dark plums and completed by supple supportive tannins. Each parcel of Shiraz is individually matched to one of a selection of American oak barrels in which the wine spends one year maturing and gaining considerable texture and power prior to release.
