This wonderfully opulent, plush and concentrated Shiraz screams quality in its dark berry, liquorice, black fruit jam, espresso and dried citrus-peel aromas and flavours, dense, fine tannins and integrated oak. The flavour intensity, concentration and length suggests a wine of very high quality that's going to age superbly for the next decade or two.

Full-bodied flavour profile, characterized by intense dark fruit notes, including blackberry and plum. Sourced from old vines, contributing to the wine's depth and complexity. These vines, having weathered the test of time, impart a unique character to the wine, delivering a depth of flavour that sets it apart.

Following the traditional Appassimento technique, the fruit was handpicked at 13.4˚ Baume and placed onto 10kg drying crates. The grapes were then transferred to our temperature and humidity controlled storage shed to dry for 25 days. This resulted in a 30% loss in bunch weight, concentrating aromas and flavours and softening tannins.
