An elegant and vivid reflection of the pristine 2018 season, this blend of Cabernet both Sauvignon and Franc is a more delicate follow-up to previous vintages. The aromas are of perfumed violets, cedar, cigar box, and old spice. The palate has dense plum and blackberry notes followed by old spice and perfumed violets which opens up to reveal more subtle nuances of cedar, potpourri and dark chocolate. The depth and complexity of this wine will develop over the next 20 years plus.

The wine celebrates the vineyards 20th anniversary and is a blend of Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc and Petit Verdot. It is a wine that exudes class and has all the hallmarks to be a remarkable wine over the coming decades. Yarra Valley meets left Bank Bordeaux. The wine is a deep red in the glass, the nose opens with time after initially showing graphite and blackberry before subtle influence of dark chocolate, old leather and oak derived spice. The palate has a firm baseline of tannin and acid that is met in equal measure by drying dark fruits, tobacco and dark chocolate build on the mid palate with expressive blackberry and a weave of spice to finish. A wine worth seeking out.
