ACCOLADES; 96 & Top in Category Winestate Magazine, October 2020 95 & Gold Medal Sam Kim, May 2020 Sourced from one vineyard on the corner of Rifle Range and Hunt Road in the eastern McLaren Vale, on the approach to the Adelaide Hills. The soils are enriched from the hills above and the cooler climate, further tempered by the sea breezes off St Vincent's Gulf, sets the scene for high quality wine grapes. Made by a 5th Generation member of the world-famous Hardy winemaking family. The nose is rich and earthy with blackcurrants, redcurrants, dried herbs and a hint of spice. The palate is elegant and complex with luscious berry flavours, followed by excellent structure and a long finish. Oak Maturation: 30% new French oak for 20 months. Cellaring: Drink now to 2030

Offering terrific fruit purity and power, this tremendous cabernet shows cassis, blueberry compote, tobacco, cedar and violet aromas on the nose, followed by a weighty palate that's focused and persistent. It's superbly structured by fine chalky tannins, finishing wonderfully long and expansive. Great line and length. At its best: now to 2033.
