Provence

Provence wine are from the region of Provence in southeast France. This region has a classic Mediterranean climate. Mild winters are followed by very warm summers with little rainfall. The main grape variety is Mourvèdre, which is the primary component in many Red wines and Rosés. The Côtes de Provence is the largest Appellation d’origine controlée of the region. The Bandol region near Toulon is internationally renowned for its Rosés.
