Here at United Cellars we work closely with producers to bring you the best wine experience. When visiting our friends at Pietro Rinaldi, we were so dissapointed to hear that they had sold out of their 2017 Argante that our customers had fallen in love with, however the winery were able to bottle one barrel of their amazing 2016 specially for us! The extra time in barrel has softened the usually hard tannins of Nebbiolo form this part of the world yet it still retains lovely freshness and vibrancy.
A wonderful wine to lay down and enjoy in several years time. Has an intense nose of rose, violet, cherry and raspberry, with mineral and spicy notes. A surprisingly elegant wine with balanced tannins and hints of licorice, pleasant in the mouth with a persistent and nice finish.
