Don't put this in the cellar, under the stairs or anywhere else other than in a glass. It's ready now revealing a raft of gorgeous aged characters from lime marmalade on buttered toast to lemon semolina cake. Fine acidity and great length.

Deep buttercup-yellow colour showing its age, and a bouquet of lemon butter, kaffir lime leaf and restrained toastiness. The wine is light and soft, refined in texture and discreet, retaining its composure after seven years in the bottle. Delicious wine at its peak. Cellaring potential: 2022
