ONLINE TASTING PACK - JAPAN'S GRACE WINES TASTING WITH AYANA MISAWA THURSDAY 25TH FEB 6:30PM AEDT
Online Wine Tastings

WHO RUNS THEM? Our Head Wine Buyer Mark Faber runs these events (he's already ran the majority of our in-person events, so there's no real change there). For our online events, we have brought in our mates from around the industry, from both here and overseas to host events depending on what the topic is! We've previously had winemakers such as Peter Fraser (Yangarra), Steve Pannell, (SC Pannell) as well as winemakers from Italy and France!
HOW MUCH ARE TICKETS? The best news is, these are FREE! You've got to buy the wines to taste along with our team, but we all need some wine at home during this period, don't we? We'll be offering 6 packs and dozen boxes, depending on the tasting.
Have you ever had Japanese wine? Not the type that's made from Plums or Rice, we're talking top-quality vino rivalling well-known producing countries. It will be our absolute pleasure to introduce Grace Wines to you on the 25th February along with winemaker Ayana Misawa.
We know that Japan is not usually a wine region that comes to mind which is why we're here to show you how amazing these wines can be. Ayana's wines have been gaining a lot of recognition worldwide and most recently, with a local critic; Gary Walsh at the Wine Front having rated all of her wines that he tried at 92 points or more.
This pack contains 3 different bottles of wine to be opened during online tastings held on Thursday the 25th of February 2021 at 6.30pm AEDT.
This tasting will be done completely online, questions are definitely encouraged, to be read out and answered by the experts. You can use your phone, computer, tablet or laptop, you do not need a camera or microphone to take part though we recommend these so you're able to interact with our experts and hosts.
These packs will start shipping closer to the date of the event.

GRACE KOSHU TORIIBIRA VINEYARD SELECTION 2019 - "More white-fleshed fruit, a little dash of pepper, apple skin, light grip, fresh and fine, a dusty texture, but a smoother and more composed wine than the Hishiyama, and little longer, though perhaps that’s splitting hairs. So lovely."

GRACE GRIS DE KOSHU 2019 - "A little new wool jumper, light spice and white pepper, fern, yuzu and white peach. Light, juicy, red apple flavour, freshness, gentle fern herbal lilt, composed finish. Fine dusty texture, just lovely and so easy to drink, yet so engaging."
