On Wednesday the 13th of May, United Cellars will host a dinner with one of the world's great wineries.

Cheval Blanc was able to realise its greatest dream in the 1880s, when it began to be considered on a par with the first growths of the Médoc – & one of the most dependably fine wines in the world – by the wine trade & connoisseurs. Thus, in the latter half of the 19th century, Cheval Blanc was in the same price bracket as Margaux, Latour, Lafite, & Haut-Brion in Paris & London auction houses. The wine’s reputation earned it a place at prestigious meals, major receptions, & state dinners. Pierre-Olivier Clouet who is the technical director for Cheval Blanc, Quinault l’Enclos & Cheval des Andes, & will talk us through each of these esteemed estates.

Dinner will be held at The Gidley, The Norfolk Room, their private dining space, can be found hidden at the back of The Gidley. This private space is the perfect environment in which to enjoy some of the best wines in the world, matched to world-class fare.
