A lovely nose of lemon, white nectarine and white flowers. A gentle nuttiness and well balanced oak adds complexity. On the palate there is a plush honeydew melon & white peach core, framed by oak and a bright refreshing acid structure. Small batch production, this wine is named in honour of the bells at the winery. The design and build of the winery in 1988 drew on passion and pride. Inspired by the catholic church in Margaret River. The 5 bells of Lenton Brae can be heard chiming on the quarter hour, a beautiful reminder of the tradition this family owned and operated winery holds dear.

Would classify this one as a 'modern' Margaret River Chardonnay (whatever that means today...). Clean, pristine and bright. Still a nice core of Honeydew melon and white peach, latticed over with a hint of oak and some complex leesy texture. A very well made wine, not overly oaky or flabby, but retaining the Margaret River charm of fruit weight.
