Le Chat Noir
Le Chat Noir is a range of varietal French wines created by Vincent Charleux and Vincent Delaunay from fruit sourced in the Aude Valley in the Languedoc-Roussillon wine region of southern France. Named after the famed village bistro in Brussels, the Le Chat Noir range of wines were created to be approachable, fruit-driven and a great value.
Located at the foothills of the Pyrenees, at an altitude of 450 meters, the cool climate vineyards are low yielding to create concentrated, flavorsome wines. Chill nights and cool winds maintain the grape's freshness and the limestone soil assists to create elegant varietal wines of Pinot Noir, Shiraz, Sauvignon Blanc, Chardonnay and Pinot Gris. Vincent Charleux, a Pinot Noir specialist carefully managed crop yields, canopy growth and harvest dates in order to maximize each wineÕs varietal characteristics. All of the Le Chat Noir wines are grown, made and bottled in the region.
