Indigo Vineyard

The Indigo Vineyard is located near the hamlet of Everton in the foothills of the Victorian Alps. The region is recognised for outstanding Pinot Noir, Chardonnay, Shiraz and Cabernet Sauvignon. The hot days and cool nights, granitic sand and clay loam soils and location combine to create an amazing terroir for growing premium grapes.

The Indigo Wine Company was established in 1997, after a year-long, Australia-wide search for the best vineyard site, the founders were led to a sheep station called The Big Valley. In 1999 plantings commenced and the first wine was produced only one year later in 2000. Called Medley it was a combination of all the berries from barely one-year-old vines, Chardonnay, Shiraz, Cabernet all blended together. After more than 15 years the wines crafted at Indigo Vineyard are consistently applauded by critics and we can see why.
