As the name suggests, Hans Herzog's roots lie in Switzerland where the Herzog family has been growing wine since 1630. It was here Hans & Therese Herzog established their vineyard and winery in Zurich and despite their great success, decided to pack up shop and search for the perfect region to produce their best-loved Bordeaux-style wines.

Hans Herzog Estate is now one of New Zealand’s most treasured, truly artisan wineries, Hans being one of its most respected winemakers with more than 40 vintages of winegrowing under his belt. Settled in 1994 in the heart of the beautiful Marlborough region of the South Island Herzog’s offers casual luxury and indulgence for wine and food lovers alike.
