      Clos Du Val is a family owned wine estate in Napa Valley, established in 1972. Owner John Goelet wanted to specialise in Cabernet Sauvignon and made his first vintage in 1972. In 2012 they changed their viticulture and winemaking practices to make a more new world, fruit forward style of wine.
