    Montepulciano d'Abruzzo is one of the most widely exported DOC wines in Italy with much of the drinking world enamoured wi… th the dry, soft, rustic reds that originate from there. As the name suggests, the predominant variety is Montepulciano, though up to 15% Sangiovese is allowed to be added to the blend.
