Amyndeon

Lying on a plateau, Amyntaio (also spelled Amyndeon, Amynteo, or Amyndaio) is a wine appellation in the northwest of the M… acedonia region of Greece. It lies just west of the wine subregion of Naoussa, which produces some of Greece's finest and most expensive red wines. The vineyards of Amyntaio sit between the mountains of Bermio and Voras, with four lakes surrounding them. These vineyards also sit at much higher altitudes (about 500-700 metres above sea level) than those of Naoussa. Plantings o
