James Suckling: "A beautifully fresh and sapid style that has plenty of fresh-ground spice and cracked pepper, across violets, blackcurrants, blackberries and dark plums." This Shiraz is made from grapes selected from five vineyards in the Hilltops District around Young on the South Western slopes of New South Wales. It’s a quintessential Canberra Shiraz that boasts elegant floral aromas, red berries and plenty of spice. The palate goes further and as lashings of berries, smooth tannins and a finish which is pure and long. To put it simply, amazing!

Blackberry, pepper and spice, orange peel and hazelnuts. Medium-bodied, distinctly nutty and slightly meaty, peanuts and new leather, fine grained husky tannin, slight warmth, running to red and black fruit on a long and meaty finish. Characterful. Lovely wine.

A beautifully fresh and sapid style that has plenty of fresh-ground spice and cracked pepper, across violets, blackcurrants, blackberries and dark plums. The palate adds a little espresso to this array of dark berries and spice. The tannins are smoothly layered and carry a smooth, fleshy finish. Drink or hold.
