    Champagne Delavenne

    4th generation grower Jean-Christophe is the owner and winemaker. He works in hand-dug Caves excavated by his father and grandfather who started the process in the 1920s. Today they are 8 Metres underground and perfect for ageing Champagne. Every single bottle of wine is made from 100% family owned and worked, estate grown fruit, classifying Delavenne as récoltants-manipulants (what we call Grower Champagnes). All fruit is either Grand Cru or 1er cru classified from the sites of Bouzy, Ambonnay and Cramant. Every bottle Hand riddled still to this day. Every vineyard is Organic, Biodynamic and even the labels for the bottles are made from recycled cardboard!
