Officially listed as a Heritage Icon of South Australia, Grange is a multi-regional masterpiece that shows power, concentration and balance to showcase the very best in Australian wine.
Typical of Grange showing strong rich, berry fruit and minty characters with smoky oak overtones. Full, firm, rich palate with excellent concentration of sweet plum and cherry-like fruit, vanilla oak flavours and soft, mouth-filling tannins.
Pairs well with a beef fillet and venison.

98"Great wine in peak condition. Gobs of ripe berry fruit flavours with a medly of savoury and bottle developed characters. This is truly complex and very long. Still has reasonably firm tannins but they are smothered in sweet fruit. Fantastic wine!"

Raisins, prunes, rum-and-raisin chocolate, roasting pan scrapings, smoked meats and a hint of crushed ants. Rich and concentrated yet beautifully balanced and sensuous. Great texture. Lovely wine, and perfect with 9 marble-score Wagyu."

South Australia

About the brand Penfolds
Penfolds, a renowned winery steeped in history, traces its origins back to 1844 when it was founded by Dr. Christopher Rawson Penfold, a young English doctor, and his wife Mary.
