    Home to some of the oldest grapevines in Western Australia, the Frankland River wine region is one of the five subregions … of the Great Southern, Western Australia and is located at the northwestern corner of the region. In 1956, the wine growing potential of this land was first determined by a renowned viticulturalist from the United States called Dr. Harold Olmo.
