Casa Coste Piane
Loris Follador has been in the winemaking game for over twenty years, but he doesn't call himself a winemaker, vintner or viticulturist: rather, he prefers to go by 'farmer'. Keeping his family's vineyard healthy is of paramount importance to Loris. The 60-year-old vines in the estate, planted on steep hillsides throughout their 5 hectare estate, are his legacy.
No herbicides, pesticides or fertilisers are used at Casa Coste Piane, and all fruit is harvested by hand. The winemaking focus is simply to capture the incredible character of the estate.
