Ca'della Scala, a small winery from San Pietro, Verona, was acquired two years ago by the Italo Cescon family.
The Italo Cescon winery was established in 1957 and named after its founder, a man who valued tradition, innovation and passion above all else. Wine, to Italo Cescon, was a product of history, culture and respect. His children now carry on his life's work, and each of their wines is a reminder of these values.
Now part of the Italo Cescon family, Ca'della Scala has adopted the winery's signature 'tralcetto' - a small, knotted piece of vine tied to each bottle with ribbon. This powerful symbol represents family, and the unchanging ideals that have become Italo Cescon's legacy.
