Every day Bodega-Cuatro-Surco strive to make good wines, respecting a balance between quality and price. Combining grapes from different terroirs they have dedicated themselves to the search for the ones best adapted to soil and altitude. The grapes are grown mostly in the Alto Valle de Uco, district of La Consulta; in San Carlos, Mendoza. Located at 33 degrees south latitude, the estate were the vines grow is an ideal geographic point for the growth of vineyards. The zone's climate is characterized by warm and sunny days and very cold nights. The temperature difference between day and night ranges between 5 and 10 degrees all year long, and it’s this difference in temperature amplitude that produce the grape´s quality and intense flavours and colours. These wines are produced in the district of La Consulta and is one of the most important areas for Mendoza´s viticulture, due to its excellent climatic conditions, fundamental for this industry´s development. With 10 million litres of capacity in the winery, the wines are divided in pools of 10, 20, and 30 thousand litres. The cellar has a storage capacity for 1 million bottles and 2 thousand oak barrels, 70% of French origin, and 30% American. Their modern bottling line enables the winery to work with all kinds of tops: natural cork, synthetic cork, and Stelvin system.
