Good colour retention; the cabernet fruit is in a redcurrant rather than blackcurrant/cassis spectrum, although both fruits contribute; it is a wine that leaves it until its finish and juicy aftertaste to really shine, and as such is slightly lateral - the cabernet tannins are so fine they can be missed.
