    In 1978, Piero Benevelli embarked on his journey in winemaking with five hectares of vines in Monforte d’Alba and desire… to focus on Nebbiolo, Dolcetto, and Barbera, the traditional grapes of Piedmont. With his son Massimo soon joining him in the vineyard and winery, the Benevelli’s instinctually knew that excellent wine can only be made with excellent grapes.
