Anna Steininger is the daughter of one of the top and most respected wine makers in Austria, Karl Steininger, quite simply, they are a match made in ‘wine’ heaven. With three different vineyards in Kamptal, Strass and Einzellagen, they have their hands full to say the least.
The Kamptal valley features among Austria's best and most successful wine regions and is mainly planted with white grapes especially Grüner Veltliner and Riesling with the soil and the climate helping to express the grapes origin.
Martin and Anna consider wine making a form of craftsmanship that leaves room for creativity, sensibility and - above all- personality.
“Sometimes this craftsmanship turns into art We have set ourselves the goal to make wines that are able to unite origin and passion and which are constantly arousing curiosity in the big world of wines.
