Tim Cox, the founder of Allegiance Wines, has been involved in the Australian wine industry across many facets for over 30 years. Beginning in the retail channel in the late 1980's, Tim has worked in hospitality, sales, marketing, distribution and manufacture - all the time being driven by his passion for wine. He started Cox Wine Merchants to act as a distributor for Moppity Vineyards, and successfully partnered with Moppity for over 5 years.
Tim has travelled extensively through the wine regions of Australia along with France, Spain, Italy and Germany. This experience is reflected in the range of wines offered under the Allegiance label, with varietals ranging from Riesling to Tempranillo.
Tim’s passion for creating premium wines has lead him to produce some outstanding expressions from varied wine regions around the country. Only if he is completely satisfied that each wine is of the highest quality possible will it join Allegiance Wines. This pledge is a commitment to combine outstanding viticulture and winemaking every vintage in order to produce the best quality wines.

Huon Hooke
Very deep red/purple colour, the bouquet lovely and fresh, clean and deep in various black fruit aromas. A full bodied, concentrated, profound wine with lush fruit and delicious flavour. A refreshing, clean, firm-tannin finish that resonates on and on, partly as a result of the high alcohol. A textbook shiraz. Big future indicated.
