The vineyards of Cromwell, Lowburn, and Pisa make up one of six subregions of Central Otago on the South Island of New Zea… land. These vineyards have a warm climate similar to that of nearby Bendigo and Bannockburn. The subregion lies on the western side of Lake Dunstan, with most vine plantings running parallel to the Pisa mountains on low terraces and the valley floor. The key grape varieties grown in the subregion include Pinot Noir, Chardonnay, Pinot Gris, Riesling, Gewürztraminer, and Sauvi
