    Minervois is an AOC in the Languedoc-Roussillon region in the south of France. It lies just north of Corbières and takes … its name from the scenic and historic village of Minerve. It is one of the 5 most famous AOCs in Languedoc-Rousillon alongside Coteaux du Languedoc, Corbieres AOC, Faugeres and Saint Chinian. The red wines of the Minervois appellation are produced from Carignan, Grenache, Lledoner Pelut, Mourvedre, and Syrah grapes. Carignan can account for no more than 40% of the blend. The
