    Steeped in rich history, Imereti is a wine-producing region in the central part of Georgia. Bordered by the Likha ridge, t… he Caucasus rige, the Meskheti mountains, and the Tskhenistskali river, the region boasts diverse geographies, in turn producing diverse wine styles. Most grapegrowing here happens in the river valleys at altitudes from 50 to 500 metres above sea level.
