    A small but prestigious German wine-producing region, Rheingau boasts beautiful scenery and 3,185 hectares of grapevines… . Most of its vineyards sit on the slopes of the north bank of the Rhine River and the Main River with a southerly aspect. These conditions, along with the protection that the Taunus hills to the north afford, create excellent prospects for grape ripening.
