Albino Rocca
Four generations tell the history of Albino Rocca. Today, as it was in the past, their goal is to produce wines that reflect the superior quality that is authentically tied to the Barbaresco territory. In addition to Barbaresco, they also hold vineyards in Neive and San Rocco Seno d’Elvio. Angelo Rocca and his father before him carefully managed the vineyards leading to the reduction and elimination of the use of herbicides, while at the same time seeking to improve winemaking and aging techniques.
In the late 1980’s Angelo Rocca separated the winemaking and aging of cru production, starting with Bric Ronchi and Loreto Vineyard, in order to achieve a stylistic change in the production of Barbaresco. Albino Rocca is now continued by Angelo's three daughters; Monica, Daniela and Paola.
