Agly Brothers
The Laughtons of Heathcote, Victoria, and the Chapoutiers of the Rhone Valley, France, have come together to create a pair of wines united by a common goal: expressing terroir as purely as possible.
A plot of mature vineyards in Corbières have been recovered by Agly Brothers, who work with care to express the full natural character of the steep, arid slopes above the Roussillon plains.
On the other side of the world, the Agly Brothers have a small Shiraz vineyard in the Heathcote region of Central Victoria - it's planted with Australian clones and Syrah cuttings from Michel Chapoutier's famous Hermitage vineyard.
